Picture yourself being transported from the US to the local bakery in the Philippines where the smell of fresh baked bread captures your attention and imagination before setting foot inside this remarkable Filipino bakery in Eagle Rock.
Auntie Dee's is the closest bakery experience you can get to ordering Fresh Hot Pan de Sal from the streets in the Philippines!! -

My family and I came to check this Filipino bakery in hopes to book them for catering for my upcoming wedding! (: Sad to say, we didn't like our experience and will look for our catering elsewhere.
Service: From the moment we walked in, there was no one was at counter. A little later, an older Filipina lady came out. There was no eye contact or greeting to welcome us. My Mom had to initiate the conversation and asked the menu. Definitely not welcoming at all.
---MENU: Asked for a menu. She said they don't have one but it's online in a standoffish way. Okay...so we awkwardly had to look it up on our phone. When we finally pulled it up, we asked about pricing and she said a lot of prices on that menu were old and now priced much higher. -_- what's the point of asking my family and I to pull up a menu online that has wrong pricing?!
---SAMPLES: We were hoping to try lumpia and small empanadas. Even though the menu said they made them, she said they don't anymore because it's hard to make the small ones. We tried to ask for the regular empanadas. Long story short, none were even available to try. -_- As I looked around, their display counters were sparse and there weren't a lot of products being sold.
My family is from the Philippines and I was hoping to bring a taste of it to our wedding. Just won't be doing it with this business. From the terrible attitude of the employee (seems like she hated her job) to the lack of actual items to try, my family and I were very disappointed especially when we drove an hour to get there. -

I really like this local bakery, the people are really friendly and their "pandesal" (breakfast rolls) really fresh! Sold in little brown bags it reminded me of the bakeries back in the Philippines - hot and freshly baked breads on weekend mornings.
Auntie Dee's also sell other Filipino favorite baked breads and goods; Spanish Breads, Cheese Rolls, Corned Beef pandesal, empanadas, hopia and more! Definitely a wonderful little hole in the wall catering not just to the Filipino community of Eagle Rock but to adventurous tastebuds also.
Enjoy! -

Rude cashier early in the morning !!!!! I asked her if they have hot pandesal and she replied yes with a dirty look and I asked how much and then again she replied $3.30 with a nasty attitude. Dirty counter. I don't know how this place got an A for health when the counter, the floor and surroundings are so dusty. Never ever again!
